By protecting and improving our environment, the communities where we do business and the students we serve, Sodexo makes every day a better day and every tomorrow a better tomorrow.

The Owl's Nest

The Owl’s Nest is a full service café that was built in 2012.  We offer a wide variety of coffee drinks, smoothies, organic Guayaki Mate, pastries, Paninis, bottled drinks and grab and go snacks.  Bulk coffee, locally made GMO-Free Roots Hummus, Local Apple Cider, and other commissary-type items are available for purchase here.

•   Serving Locally-Roasted Organic Coffee and Espresso by Dynamite Roasting Company. Try our unique Night Owl Blend that was designed specifically for WWC Students
•   All pastries made in house by Chef Jen and change daily.  Vegan and Gluten Free pastries are always available.
•   High Quality Artesian Bagels are made locally by Homefree Bagels, a not for profit business.  They provide employment opportunities for people struggling with homelessness and pledge their profits to organizations dedicated to ending poverty and improving quality of life in our community.  Top one of these amazing bagels with local hummus or NC grown peanut butter!
•   The Owl’s Nest is working towards being a ‘zero-waste’ facility.  We currently compost all biodegradable waste and recycle 100% of materials possible.  In the 2016-2017 school year we will be looking for a way to source compostable plastic gloves and plastic wrap, the only two items we actually throw away.
•   Organic Campus Grown and Processed WWC Herb Crew Teas are always available.
•   Student Art installments on display.
•   We offer a variety of milk alternatives including Almond, Non-GMO Soy, Coconut, and our Regionally Produced PET Milk Products are Hormone Free
•   Don’t forget to bring your reusable mug!
